Endorsements and Wins

Muslim Civic Coalition-Activate endorses candidates who promote civic justice, champion peace, combat supremacist ideology and demonstrate local impact.

    • Advancing social justice, economic justice, immigrant justice and labor justice.

    • Prioritizing community safety. Limiting weapons to foreign governments.

    • Opposing taxpayer-funded attacks on civilians at home and abroad. 

    • Confronting all forms of supremacy including white supremacy, Hindutva and Zionism.

    • Protecting Muslim and Palestinian constituents amidst rising hate. 

    • Ensuring inclusive representation of all racial, ethnic, and religious identities in their administration.

  • Demonstrating deep community engagement and track record of local impact.

Coalition-Activate provides endorsed candidates with graphics, public or nonpublic support, strategy, phone banking, funding recommendations, and other forms of support.

Please Note: 

  • There are hundreds of races across the state. In races where an endorsement was not made, candidates did not submit questionnaires or the Coalition-Activate did not have local staff/volunteer capacity to provide support 

  • We do not endorse write-in candidates

  • Some races had more than one strong candidate. We prioritized new and diverse voices
